Erick Rudolph began his racing career at the young age of five. Immediately, Erick experienced success behind the wheel, winning more than 200 feature Go Kart events and 11 track championships.
Throughout Erick’s young career, he continues to prove that he has talent behind the wheel in many different types of racing.
In 2005, Erick moved from Go Karts to the Casey’s Midget series, and it did not take him long to conquer the series. At fourteen, he won the Casey’s TQ Midge Series Championship in 2006.
Erick’s success continued in 2008 when he logged 18 feature-wins in the DTRP modified series and won the SST points championship. In 2009, he ran three complete schedules, including the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT), ROC Modified Tour and Dunn Tire Raceway Park track schedule.
In 2010, Erick piloted the No. 98 Mohawk Northeast/Original Pizza Logs Chevrolet in the NWMT for Heinke-Baldwin Racing. He collected three top-fives, seven top-10s and one pole en route to an eighth-place finish in the championship standings. Never wavering from his passion of racing, Rudolph missed his high school graduation to compete in a NWMT event.
Erick currently attends Niagara County Community College and will once again compete in the NWMT with Heinke-Baldwin Racing in the 2011 season. Erick looks to continue to improve his position in the point standings in No. 98 Mohawk Northeast/Original Pizza Logs Chevrolet. When Erick is not studying or at the track racing, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing lacrosse.
